WOYWW

Hello Peeps,
Well today is Wednesday so here are some photo's of my work desk

I picked up my new Stampin up goodies today, which
consisted of..... the Three Step Owl punch,
the Square Lattice embossing folder, the Decorative
Label punch, and the Four Frames stamp set.

I also went to The Range this afternoon and got myself
a new heat mat, some white bows, and some photo canvas
paper.I've been looking for some linen effect paper at a
reasonable price, found some at PC World, for
£7.99 for 30 sheets, but wasn't willing to pay that.
So just bought the canvas paper to have a play with.

The rubber stamps are by Holy Cuppleditch, called
Make a Wish and Flower Girl, they were reduced at
The Range. I couldn't decide which to pick, so my
Hubby bought them both for me, how lucky am I.lol
The chipboard tags are The Country Diary of an Edwardian
Lady and were free with my Cardmaking and
papercraft magazine.

And finally this is Rufus, who doesn't bother what day it is when he decides to sit on my desk.

Which is all well and good until I come to stamp something and discover the imprint
of hairs on my carefully stamped image....... good job he is so cute.

So now I am off to have a play with my new goodies. Take care.

Pretty Felt Flowers

Hello Peeps,
Just in case any one is looking I just wanted to show you these pretty felt flowers.
I found these in my local pound shop and couldn't resist them, I thought they
were lovely for the money, and such pretty colours.

I have already used one of the pink flowers on the front  of a notebook
that I covered in some scrapbook paper. I am using this little book to jot
down any sentiments or verses I come across, then I can print them off from
my computer at a later date.

Yesterday I found these chipboard embellishments in the same shop

Its great to get a bargain ! Hope you do too.

Get well wishes

Hello Peeps,
Hope you had a lovely weekend, the weather in Yorkshire was gorgeous.
Reggie the parrot has enjoyed being outside in his cage, although he wasn't
impressed with his water spray bath that Katie my daughter gave him, and
when she tried to commiserate with him he nipped her finger, ouch !

                                                                      Naughty Reg !

Stella me bobs

Hello peeps,
Well even though I have felt really rough all week (after effects of
horrible cold ), and still struggling with my frozen shoulder, I thought I would
cheer myself up and make my daughter Katie this keepsake card of her dog
Stella known affectionately as Stella me bobs.
It came about after Katie was jokingly asking Stella where her mothers day
card was, so I thought I would make one as a surprise.
I really enjoyed making it and I did try to use any other colour than pink
or purple, but I just couldn't stop myself lol.
I love cards with flowers and ribbon and bling so I unashamedly indulged
myself. So, pink and lilac card is from my stash, I used the Nesti Lacey
circles to mount the photo of Stella and attached Happy Daze charm,
My sentiment I did on the computer then mounted on the smaller Lacey circles,
I used  the MS Doily Lace punch (love that punch) as a paper ribbon and my
Ex cut punch for the flowers, and added a black gem to the centres, and a
Woodware punch for the leaves.
The lovely purple paper flower I bought at the NEC, and the little hearts I think
are from Papermania, they didn't match the card so I coloured them with my
pro markers and got a lovely marbled effect.
To finish I stuck two bows onto lilac buttons and used foam letters to spell Stella.
Katie loves it, Stella doesn't know what all the fuss is about, but I'm sure she likes it.
Hope you do too.

Week 9 - Colour Challenge - A Touch of Red

This is my card for the Less is More challenge A Touch of Red

After the kerfuffle I had on last weeks LIM challenge, I thought I had better not
leave it till the last minute, so here is my card.
I thought I would try the new stamp Swirls and Flourishes from
Personal Impressions and the new WOW embossing glitter Black twinkle.
I'm afraid the photo doesn't do it justice as in real life it is lovely and sparkly.
These were some of the goodies I bought at the NEC so I think I have put
them to good use. Hope you like it.
Hugs lottie x

I am also entering this card into the St Lukes charity card challenge
