'What's On Your Work desk Wednesday'. If you too would like to join in the fun then, take a pic of your work desk and share it with lots of other 'nosey', I mean like minded people. Hop on over to Julia's blog
Stamping-Ground for more info. Hope to see you there.
Hello peeps,
Having missed the last couple of weeks while in Scotland I thought I had better make the effort to join in WOYWW this week and catch up on some work desks.
At the moment I am making a mini "friendship quotes" tag album, for a friend's birthday, so on my desk is the TH pocket envelope die that I'm using for the album. I am undecided whether to punch a fancy edge on the top of the tags or use a die to shape them, also can't decide whether to emboss the tags or not so I'm just having a play with things really. The paper pad is First Edition Love Letters, and has some lovely papers. At the front of my desk is the hinge binding I made ready for the pockets to be attached. The scraps of paper are the friendship quotes I have collected, ready to choose from and print on the computer.
I have also been having a play with the Radiant Rain and Cosmic Shimmer sprays and made a couple of backgrounds which are still at the back of my desk.
Hope you have a great WOYWWednesday.
Happy Art Making
Hugs
Lottie

I covered it with old music score (from charity shop) Happened to be "little Donkey". I used sticky aluminium tape (B&Q loft insulation aisle)and embossed for the roofs with brown alcohol inks to distress. The windows are painted gold with silver mirri card behind. Tree are from Tim Holtz and I glued some pearly beads on them.
Think that was it, did it all Christmas Eve and had to do some whilst cooking hence the photos my hubby took of me!
Thanks for visiting me today BJ#31
Hi BJ, Thanks for the info. How perfect to find the Little Donkey music score for your project. Thanks for letting me know where to find the aluminium tape I've been trying to find some of that, looked in B&Q down the plumbing isle in vain and of course couldn't find any staff to ask lol.
DeleteCooking for Cristmas and crafting at the same time = dedication!! lol x

Your desk is full of lovliness! You are being very busy indeed! Thank you for visiting me and have a fab week xx #114
ReplyDeleteHi Lottie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift! I might have to borrow that idea. I see you are having a good play while you decide what you will do. I like how you have your Spellbinders stored. I put all my Cuttlebug stuff in one big box and that works for me for the time being.
Thanks for visiting me already. I think I'll be visiting desks through the weekend.
Happy WOYWW
