WOYWW 156
Hi Peeps,
Well here we are another week gone and its Wednesday again,
so that means WOYWW.
I've been playing around with ideas for the ATC swaps.
So if any of the lovely people who have visited me, and left their
lovely comments, would like to swap
(or would just like one any way) please email me with your contact
details.
On my desk this week are some flowers using Tim Holtz Tattered
Florals die and my daughters cream felt jacket,
(apparently she didn't like it any more) and it was like new.Soooo
instead of sending it to the charity shop I cut it up to make flowers,
I did feel a tad guilty, but never mind needs must lol.
I coloured the edges and added stickles to some, and I love them.
I also inked up the Coffee Break stamp from LOTV, and started
to colour it ready to make a card.
Thanks for looking, look forward to hearing from any ATC swapees.
Hugs

WOYWW 155
Hi Peeps,
Well I have been busy tweaking my craft room yesterday and today,
I am trying to create more space, for more stuff and it is proving
difficult to say the least. You know how it is when you really should
get rid of some stuff, to make way for new stuff, but you just can't
bring yourself to part with anything.
So there is no pic of my work desk today, but thought I would share
what I made on it recently.
This is a birthday book I made for Emma a lovely friends 21st Birthday.
She is a Tattooist, who does her own art work and is making a name
for herself in the tattooing industry.
All the papers are odds and ends from my stash and all the sentiments
were done on the computer.
I really like how it turned out.
It doesn't show up too well in the pic, but this paper is beautifully embossed and glittered.
Bought these lovely flock and rhinestone letters at the NEC.
I love this paper.
Papermania buttons on this page.
On this page I used a butterfly fabric and cut out a few of the butterflies stuck them to card
and decoupaged them.
I used the Spellbinders labels 11 die for all the sentiments.
I was having a last look at my efforts before leaving to give Emma her gift when I noticed I had missed an 'S' off the word 'hopes', ******, I thought.!!! My husband said it made it unique....... Bless!
This is beautiful flocked wrapping paper.
. I used the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder on the front and back covers.
I used the Spellbinders labels 11 die for all the sentiments.
Hope you all had a great day WOYWW ing.
Thanks for peeking

WOYWW 153
Hello peeps, not much going on on my desk this week, I have
been feeling yucky all week so tidied up my desk ready for action.
I have been You Tubeing, and watching all sorts of tutorials,
one on crochet flowers,so on my desk there are a few crochet flowers
I made, and also a wooly 'thing' lol. I am just following a tutorial for a
more elaborate crochet flower, but I need to buy some decent
thread really. On Saturday I popped in to Lilli of the Valley's open
weekend,I would have liked to have taken one of Bev Rochesters
workshops but I thought I would be in Scotland on those dates so
I didn't book a place. Silly me !
Any way as you can see I bought two stamps from the new release,
'Yee Haa' and the Vintage labels sentiments.
I also bought a couple of raffle tickets, and 'guess what'................
I didn't win lol.
Happy WOYWW

WOWW
Hi peeps,
A couple of months ago a friend made a post on Face Book saying she
would make something for any one who commented on her post. The
rules were you had to repost and the the gift had to be something hand
made by yourself and be given by the end of 2012. A pay it forward
kind ot thing.Any way as I have commented before my friends don't do
crafting, however I received two comments one from my friend Helen
who thought it was a good idea, but didn't want to take part, and the
other comment was from my son who is in Australia backpacking.
Soooo on my work-desk today is an envelope tag book I am making
for Helen (she did make a comment after all) and it is her birthday
next week.
I have nearly finished covering the envelopes with papers from MME, and EP
Then I will make all the tags, and add some decoration.
I'm also going to use the Donna Salzer creative tabs dies. The little
purple thing stood up at the back of the pic is a mini tag book made
from one sheet of 12x12 paper, though it's not finished yet.
I have a reasonable sized amount of work space, but usually end up working
in an ever decreasing space of about about a foot square lol.
Love the colour of that Cerise felt, I'm going to have a go at die cutting
it into some flowers.
I love the idea of the pay it forward and am looking forward to receiving
my handmade surprise from my FB friend, she makes fab cakes so
fingers crossed. As for my son, I haven't thought of what I could make
and send him yet, any suggestions ladies n gents ?
Happy crafting

WOYWW
Hello Peeps,
I can't believe its been so long since I've been on here, I lost my mojo
some-where what with one thing and another, though I have been
getting a fix by visiting lots of other peoples blogs.
Any way as it is Wednesday I thought I would take part in
WOYWW
So here we are.
Some stamps recently bought but not put away yet. The two Fizzy Moon
stamps were a bargain at £1.50 each, Boofle was free with the Creativity
magazine, Tilda with Koala I bought to make a card for my son who is
back packing in Australia, and the beautiful butterflies I bought from Paper
Arts who made my on line shopping experience a pleasure as when my
package arrived the goods inside were wrapped in pretty heart paper
tied with pink twine and a sweet gift tag.
This is what my daughter bought me for Mothers Day.
Thank you Katie, Love you x
I love this ribbon it has a thinner ribbon running along the wider one
and has a string of pearls and butterflies attached as well.
It was sold as gift wrapping but I'm sure I can use it on a card.
I have been following Jennings 644 You Tube channel which is fantastic
for tutorials and inspiration, and wanted to have a go at making the
shabby chic pearl flowers, she demo's. Hence all the beads
This is my first attempt
My Stampin Up order arrived Monday, the Fresh Vintage stamp set
were free in the saleabration event, the stamp wheel is Love blossoms
which goes with the You are Loved stamp set which I used on the
Valentine card you can see below.
The small beads in the pots, I used on the butterfly card above.
Inspired by a card I saw on Mel Stampz Blog. The butterfly is a
Marianne designs die, which is beautiful, I used glitter card and
blinged it up with gems.
Hope you liked your visit
Thank you for looking
