Hi Peeps,
Well here we are another week gone and its Wednesday again,
so that means WOYWW.
I've been playing around with ideas for the ATC swaps.
So if any of the lovely people who have visited me, and left their
lovely comments, would like to swap
(or would just like one any way) please email me with your contact
details.
On my desk this week are some flowers using Tim Holtz Tattered
Florals die and my daughters cream felt jacket,
(apparently she didn't like it any more) and it was like new.Soooo
instead of sending it to the charity shop I cut it up to make flowers,
I did feel a tad guilty, but never mind needs must lol.
I coloured the edges and added stickles to some, and I love them.
I also inked up the Coffee Break stamp from LOTV, and started
to colour it ready to make a card.
Thanks for looking, look forward to hearing from any ATC swapees.
Hugs

Hi Dottielottie,
ReplyDeleteOh, you made me laugh. I've taken off buttons from blouses that I'd otherwise donate..... but they don't want buttonless shirts. Now I know how to make flowers out of fabric so I can repurpose just about 100% of my blouse! hee hee
Your flowers look great!!!
Happy WOYWW

Kay

Those flowers are so pretty! What are you going to do with them? How wonderful to take 3 months off to travel in a caravan! If you blogged about it, send me a link and I'll be back in a flash! Patsy from

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for the unwanted jacket BJ #35
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are delightful! A triumph of recycling.
ReplyDeleteSome months ago I made 3 tiny mice from my grandee's first pure wool baby suit ( moth holed too) but I had to felt it first. Better than in the bin and now they are a keepsake.
Happy 3rd WOYWW Birthday. A great way to bring crafty friends together in fun and friendship.

Those flowers are just gorgeous!! Happy WOYWW, Helen #8
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW 3rd Anniversary Lottie!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, those flowers are stunning!
The look every bit as good at the flowers that Prima produce and you could make a mint if you could make loads and sell them.
Have a great week and…….
Happy Crafting!

Believe me if it wasn't sold within a week at the shop it would probably be shipped off for rags to be re-cycled. So I think you have done it justice by re- upcycling it in your own way. Really nice Jacket flowers too. LOL

Love the felt flowers! They are fabulous. Now hopefully your daughter didn't just drop off the jacket in a hurry and was expecting to get it back! Love the LOTV image. I have a few myself, but of course, need more. Drop me a line if you want to swap ATCs as I have spares as well. Judy #154
ReplyDeleteGreat flowers Lottie. Have to admit I haven't gotten into ATCs but I would like to nominate you for the Leibster Blog Award. The details are on my site

Hi Lottie! Thanks for your comment! In and to your question, I used glossy card to apply the Alcohol inks and just mounted them on scraps of toning card.... average weight. It probably looks thinker because it is two layers. Have fun trying it all out!
