WOYWW # 264

It's Wednesday and that means it's WOYWW  which stands for .......
'What's On Your Work desk Wednesday'.
If you too would like to join in the fun then, take a picture of your work desk, table, etc. and share it with lots of other like minded people.
Hop on over to Julia's blog   Stamping Ground  for more info. Hope to see you there
                                            ............................................................................

Hello desk hoppers.

I hope everyone is tickety boo today, I am feeling somewhat less frazzled as it is a little cooler today so I feel less like a wet dishcloth!  Why do we get such horrid humid and muggy days for our summer?
I haven't been too busy in the craft room department either, but I have managed to photograph the ATC's that I received from the WOYWW anniversary swap.
It is so exciting finding one of these little beauties behind the door.

From the left

Darnell @ djkardkreations

In the foreground are 6 cutlery pouches that Bella sent me, aren't they great and I love the elephant card, as I told Bella I was born in Africa but don't remember much as we returned to the UK just before my 5th birthday, but I do feel I have a connection with the country and would love to one day go back.
Thank you again ladies for your gorgeous mini works of art x
Looking forward to receiving yours Kay I see it is in the post :))

So, also on my desk are are some NBUS stamps, hi Darnell ;) from Chocolate Baroque a T!m Holtz embossing folder and my circle dies that I am trying to create a card with.
You know when you get an idea for creating something in your head, only it doesn't work when you actually try it out ? well I am at that stage at the mo. Ah well, back to the drawing board as they say.
I will leave you with a pic of the ATC's I made for the swap,

and hope my swapee's received a colour they liked and are not looking and wishing, "Ooo I wish I got the  yellow, blue, plum, pink, purple one" !!!!! lol

Enjoy your desk hopping
Happy Art making
Hugs
Lottie x

  1. Lovely ATCs Lottie. Great idea to make a set in different colours. Feeling a bit sad that I missed it. Maybe next time . . .

  3. No one would wish to exchange whatever color ATC they got, Lottie! I can attest to knowing first-hand that these ATCs that you made are WAAAAAAY more remarkable IRL than they appear on the flat screen! And thank you for sharing the lovely ATCs from your friends, too, and especially the lovely NBUS!

Good luck with your creation. I know what that's like when the mojo juice wants to travel uphill and fights you all the way. Sometimes you just have to have a lie down for a bit or a whole sleep over it and that gets the flow going in the right direction again! I'm not WOYWWing because of that other hop I had today; just stopping in to say hi back to ya!! Enjoy the week!! Hugs, Darnell

  8. Oh, I know, muggy weather is energy sapping, isn't it? All the windows are open to try and catch any slight breeze. The weather is supposed to be on the turn (just before I go on hols, typical!!) but I don't mind, I prefer walking in cooler temps.
All your ATCs are gorgeous, any colour would have been well received :-)

  9. Hi Lottie, lots of super ATC's you received, lucky lady and the ones you made are gorgeous too. Well done.
What part of Africa were you born in? I grew up in Nigeria from the age of 5 until I was 10, rather rose tinted memories of it.
Hope the weather is cooler now in Yorkshire, it certainly is in North Wales.
    Bless you

  11. Well I am very pleased with my blue ATC and would not want to change for all the colours in the rainbow. How fascinating to have lived in Africa, hope you get back one day.

  12. I think that you will be much cooler for a while. not only is Wimbledon on, but I am waiting for my new garden table and chairs to be delivered any minute now, so the weather is bound to turn cold and wet. Your ATCs look beautiful and I am sure that everyone loved them whichever colour they received. Have a great week. xx Maggie #60

  13. I don't see my comment - maybe it went somewhere in outer space (I am from New Mexico). I haven't received your ATC yet; will keep a lookout for it. I got Annie's back because it lacked 10 cents in postage! I haven't gotten your back so I'm hoping it's making it's way to you.

You received a wonderful assortment of ATCs. It's interesting that you were born in Africa. You should definitely try to get back someday.

Thank you for visiting me already!
    Happy WOYWW

  14. Hi Lottie, sorry to be late, just back from hols, it was very, very hot up in Scotland too. Love the ATCs you received, I recognised Darnell's as both she and you were kind enough to send me one - thank you!! I love your ATCs and like Darnell says, they look much more beautiful in real life! Thank you again.

I was nearly born in South Africa but my parents took a last minute decision to go to Canada instead! Hugs, Anne xx

  18. What a beautiful group of ATC's. Love the little easels they are on. And your ATC's are so bright and glittery. I'm a flower freak so they are right up my alley. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.
